A programme worth recommending
ActivityBox is a 6-month creative development programme for children ages 4–8, used at home by families. Built on a research-backed framework and designed by an experienced educator, it’s the kind of programme schools feel confident putting their name behind.

Why Schools Trust It

Research-backed
Grounded in Piaget, Vygotsky, and Montessori developmental frameworks
Aligned with early years outcomes
Supports fine motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development
Progressive, not random
Six months of structured creative growth, not one-off craft kits
Built on proven developmental research
The Discover–Make–Play framework is grounded in established educational theory that educators will recognise:
Jean Piaget
Cognitive development
Hands-on, sequential activities support active knowledge construction through exploration and experimentation.
Lev Vygotsky
Social constructivism
Parent-child collaboration provides scaffolding that extends children’s abilities beyond what they can achieve alone.
Maria Montessori
Child-centred education
Independence, sensory learning, and self-directed exploration at the child’s own pace.
The programme supports development across four domains: fine motor skills, cognitive reasoning, social-emotional growth, and language and communication, consistent with EYFS, NAEYC, and HK EDB Kindergarten Curriculum Guide outcomes.

For SEN and Specialist Settings
ActivityBox isn’t a therapy tool, but the way it’s built is exactly what SEN families need. Process over outcome. Self-paced. Hands-on. No reading required.
For SEN centres and specialist practitioners, recommending ActivityBox gives families a quality home programme that reinforces fine motor development, sequencing, and emotional regulation, without adding to your workload.
The programme suits older children working at a younger developmental level, making it flexible beyond the standard 4–8 age range.
Structured and predictable
Same format every month. Clear steps, visual instructions, consistent tools.
Sensory-rich, screen-free
Tactile materials – clay, fabric, paint, natural fibres – engage multiple senses without screens.
No performance pressure
Open-ended projects with no right answer. The process is the point.
No literacy required
Visual guides and pre-portioned materials. Children participate fully without reading.
